About Dr. Walsh

Cameron Walsh was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. He graduated from Dos Pueblos High School, where he was a member of the varsity swimming, sailing, and water polo teams. He then attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Mathematics. He continued his education at the University of California, San Francisco, receiving a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Walsh moved to Birmingham, Alabama, in 2017 to further his training, receiving a Doctorate in Medicine from The University of Alabama at Birmingham, as well as completing a residency for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. 

During his time at UAB, Dr. Walsh had extensive training in the full scope of oral surgery, including anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implantology, corrective jaw surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, and head and neck pathology. He is a board-eligible Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and belongs to a number of organizations, including the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association. Dr. Walsh is committed to exceptional patient care in office-based oral surgery, implant surgery, wisdom teeth extraction, bone grafting, complex oral rehabilitation, and anesthesia. 

Due to the delicate and complex nature of oral surgery, Dr. Walsh remains on the cutting edge of technology.  He focuses on Dental Implants, teeth in a day all on 4 dental implants, complex bone grafting, 3D Navigation with X-Nav Technology and 3D Cone Beam Imaging, and remains up-to-date on IV sedation and anesthesia knowledge. This ensures his ability to continually provide a safer and more comfortable experience for all patients. Dr. Walsh values interdisciplinary communication, input, and expertise from the dentists he works with to provide patients with the most functional and aesthetic outcomes.

In his free time, Dr. Walsh enjoys restoring classic cars, free diving, spearfishing, and spending time at the beach. Most importantly, he enjoys quality family time with his wife, Sarah, and two children, Mary James and Rhodes.

About Dr. Vila

Stefan J. Vila was born in Miami, and graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School. He attended University of Southern California where he received his Bachelor's of Arts in Biological Sciences. Dr. Vila graduated at the top of his class at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where he received his DDS degree. He then furthered his education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he earned an MD degree, and completed a full General Surgery internship. Dr. Vila then completed his training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and served as Chief Resident at a busy Level 1 Trauma Center in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Vila is a board eligible Oral Surgeon. After completing his training, Dr. Vila decided to make Birmingham home and now offers his services in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to his community. Dr. Vila is compassionate about patient care and dedicates himself to creating a safe and pleasant experience for his patients and their families.
